Got this two pictures from Web (sorry not really know the original or else I would had quoted it). Don't know when they were taken but guess in the 1960s to early 1970s.

At the time when Mercedes Taxi were everywhere in HK. 

Ford Transit Minibus, which were later replaced by the Japanese Brand Nissan Echo.
